Yes, I was being passive-aggressive. At the time I posted my comments to PD, I felt there was no good way to make a comment directly to the person I suspected of playing "gotcha, dumb-ass Christian" with a series of posts following the original "bait" that God hated her and blah, blah, blah "poor little exer me" got leadings from the Lord and now "I won't be able to do as much good in the world as I had been lead (by God) to hope." My impression of "gotcha, dumb-ass" has been consistently reinforced by snarky responses to youtube posts put up by both myself and PD.
People who appear to have a need to prove how much smarter they are than others--and it's really quite easy to look smarter than a weirdo who believes in something as unprovable as the resurrection of a 1st century Jewish rabbi--generally operate out of a weak ego. I should know how this game gets played: I spent a 16 years of my life chasing the need to prove how smart I am. It's a game that academics play all the friggin' time.
I could be misjudging IFT's behavior. A commitment to be open and honest will tell the whole story in time.
