That's some gruesome sotoriology you got going on there, bro. Where did you get the idea that God killed Jesus? I thought it was the Romans, with the Jewish authorities in collusion. I wouldn't want the kind of God you describe, either. Seems like a sadistic puppet-master pulling people's strings. That sounds Bergian, for sure, and it doesn't leave much room for free will.
I saw an interesting bumper sticker the other day that puts the notion of religion as a "constant basis for war" into a different perspective. The sticker read, "Religion is what keeps poor people from rising up and killing rich people." So religion is either an opiate that keeps poor people down or a methamphetamine that cranks up paranoid people to violence? In and of itself, religion is just another a social endeavor that can be used for good or bad.
