I used to have a button that said "Lord, protect us from your people". I still feel that way. Religion kills, divides and is a constant basis for war. Not just christian, either. If anything I am closer to Buddhist. But I have and want no religion. That being said, I enjoy the company of people from a wide variety of religions and no religion because I admire their personal spirituality. For me, I see nothing I want in a God that would kill his own son for people, the overwhelming majority of whom will swim in a lake of fire for eternity because they don't believe in his son, who before being sacrificed told his followers to symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood.
