Benevolence Fund--we have that also. Periodically I hear about how much gets spent for what--often it's healthcare, but also rent, utilities & transportation.

Maybe I'm misreading you, but I think I picked up some concerns on your part as to where the Vineyard movement as a whole is going. Is that right? I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. I haven't invested 35 years of my life in this, so I don't have that kind of perspective. It's a minor miracle that I could affiliate with any church after my RC experience and 14 years of being unchurched. That's why I think the Lord had a hand in it, because it surely wasn't my natural inclination to join an evangelical/charismatic church. I was looking at the Quakers and Presbyterians when I found Central Vineyard. I see it as a situation where God did something for me that I couldn't do for myself.
