Allow me to disagree with the first. I do agree insofar as meaning that in TF much of the sciptures were mystical, as also expressed. Not that they should be, but they were. This is a big subject.

Interpreting in the context of the times it was written, yes indeed it must be done as much as possible, however for several reasons not always best to limit it to a particular time.
Considering the real issues at hand, concerning the reformation and counter-reformation, as I write this I don’t see how there can be any ‘bad aspects’ of the pro-reformation side.

Not sure, but none of these boards may be suitable for a discussion on these issues (??). You are welcome to drop a line. Fh0782 (at) gmail.
