I thought it interesting that the video subject matter seemed aimed at not so much a genereal worldwide audience, but at those who had live east of the Iron Curtain before the wall came down.
In both communist countries and in TF, most, if not all choices were made for most of the popuation. That in itself, IMO, would make it hard for people to get used to using their own mental/social faculties to decide on everyday choices after being made free.
Even after just 2 1/2 years for me in th early '70s, part of my culture shock adjustments had to do with getting over that hurdle; just thinking for myself, acquiring an actually personal relationship with God beyond the minimal one I had had in the cult, and just even making everyday simple everyday choices as a free man.
